RESULTS

R1. CSOs are recognized by the government with organizing and capacity building for synergy and drawing its participation in decision and policy making based on their needs.

R2. Strengthened existing grass-root organizations (existing network of environmental / rural development CSOs), especially representing rural voices, and more CSOs joined.

R3. Local NTFPs producers, mainly of truffles, medicinal plants and honey, have a formed network or an association.

R4. Local CSOs and other stakeholders capacitated on sustainable forest practices and the use of NTFPs for income generation.

R5. Participatory advocacy campaigns, capacity-building, research and knowledge dissemination to promote forest conservation/NTFPs for the livelihood of rural communities.

R6. Dissemination of a documentary/5’-10’ video on participatory forest governance in the Hyrcanian forest and other awareness-building materials.
